DEBORAH DAVENPORT,
teacher and choreographer since 1972 is a graduate of Dance Masters of America
Teachers Training School, and a member of the Cecchetti Council of America.
She is Artistic Director of The DANCE CO. of St. Charles. She was a member of
the Kansas City Royallaires and also a KMOX Cardinal Dancer.
As a dancer with St. Charles Civic Ballet, Debbie danced on several St. Louis T.V. shows.
She has studied all forms of dance in New York, Chicago, & L.A. with an emphasis on Jazz.
She was a Master teacher for the St. Louis Dance Festival,
St. Louis Dancing Teachers' Association, and taught jazz for Fontbonne College.
Debbie's choreography credits include a music video shown on St. Louis Cable TV,
and with Tracy as co-choreographer, the Patt Holt Singers road show and several
promotional videos for Venture.
Debbie is Past President of SLDTA and served on DMA's National Committee for
Education of Tap. Having won numerous choreography awards,
Debbie judges for several regional and national dance competitions.

TRACY DAVENPORT,
founder and Artistic Director of the DANCE CO. of St. Charles, is a member of the
Actors Equity Association, Cecchetti Council of America, Dance Masters of America.
She danced professionally at The Muny for thirteen seasons, appearing in over 20
productions and/or touring companies, with TAPSICHORE, a professional rhythm tap company,
and was a KMOX Cardinal dancer. Tracy has choreographed and taught tap for Lindenwood
University, jazz for Fontbonne College, MasterClasses for the Cecchetti Council of America
(jazz and ballet both regionally and nationally), St. Louis Dance Festival, and DMA National
Convention and Teachers Training School.
Tracy's choreography has also won many awards & she judges regionally & nationally for
several competitions. She began teaching in 1975. Miss Tracy is the current President
of SLDTA and is very proud to have been elected as a National Director for Dance Masters
of America.

KAREN DAVENPORT,
currently resides in New York, teaching tap at a studio in New Jersey. She
is managing director for a private school in Manhattan. Besides teaching at
Performing Arts Centre, Miss Karen has also taught tap at COCA and Steps in NYC.

MARTHA DAVENPORT,
after working at a St. Louis bank for 3 years, Martha married and became
an Air Force wife. Using her great organizational skills, Martha was co-founder
of the "Thunderbrides", the wives auxiliary to the Air Force Thunderbirds in Las Vegas;
served in various offices of the NCO Wives Club in Greenville, S.C.; in Savannah GA,
became a volunteer Gray Lady with the Red Cross and in Kansas City became a Girl Scout Jr.
and Brownie leader and the Neighborhood Chairman. Finally settling in St. Charles, Martha became
involved with Barbara Jeanne School of Dance and the St. Charles Civic Ballet. In 1973,
she became owner/managing director of what was to become Performing Arts Centre, with her
3 daughters as teachers. She served as president of the Solar Acrobatic Association
of St. Louis and was awarded honorary membership in the St. Louis Dance Teachers Association.
Along with Tracy, Mrs. "D" co-founded The DANCE CO. of St. Charles, serving as everything
other than Artistic Director! Martha retired from active participation in the studio in 1995.
