CLASS ASSIGNMENTS
Students are assigned to classes on a combination of age and
ability. First year students are grouped according to age at
the time of enrollment. After the first year, ability is the
prime consideration, with age level second. By ability, we
mean the level of development a child has attained. It is a
scientific fact that all children develop mentally and physically
at different rates. The class your child is assigned is the class
the teachers feel will be the most beneficial to your child,
thereby assuring progress and enjoyment. All students are subject
to evaluation during the month of September to make sure that
they have been assigned to the proper class. Teachers may also
recommend class changes later in the year. If you have a question
about your child’s level please see the teacher or director.

ATTENDANCE
It is most important that your child be in class each week.
Missed lessons hinder your child’s progress. However, we do
realize that there will be absences due to illness or bad weather.
For these instances make-up lessons are offered but must be taken
during the current semester. Please advise the office in advance
of your child’s absence. Refunds will not be granted. Excessive
absences will cause your child to fall behind and therefore may
be moved to another level. Certificates of perfect attendance
will be awarded at the end of the season. Make-up lessons do not
apply toward perfect attendance.

VISITOR'S DAY
Studios 2, 3, 4 & 5 have viewing windows. Curtains will be open
each month on the 2nd lesson for Room 2; 3rd lesson for Room 3;
4th lesson for Room 4; and the 1st lesson for Room 5;
Please be courteous by keeping voices low, taking turns viewing,
and keeping small children away from the window.
Room 1 visitor’s day is the 1st lesson
of November and March. Visitation in other classrooms by
invitation only (i.e. if there is an individual problem).
We realize that parent’s need to see the child’s development
and attitude in class, but visitor’s in the classroom are a
distraction to the student. PLEASE DO NOT BRING SMALL CHILDREN
ON VISITOR’S DAY.

TEACHER CONFERENCES
Please do not hesitate to talk to the teacher if you have any
questions regarding your child’s progress. General questions
relating to classes and studio policies can be answered by the
office staff, but specific questions should be taken up with
the teacher as she knows and works with your child.
NOTE #1: If your child has any special physical, emotional,
or learning problems, please tell the teacher. The teacher needs
to know in order to better understand your child and create a
much easier learning situation.
NOTE #2: If there is something you do not understand in your
child’s class, please see the teacher or one of the Directors.
If a problem arises, please give us the opportunity to remedy or explain.

HOLIDAYS
PAC closes for a Winter & Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Easter,
& Memorial Day. Notices will be posted at the studio.
Make-up classes may be taken when a holiday falls on your regular class day.
Tuition is the same during the months
with holidays, as we do not charge extra for months that you may
receive five lessons.
