DEBORAH DAVENPORT, teacher and choreo-

grapher since 1972, is a graduate of DMA Teacher’s

Training School, and a member Dance Masters of

America. She is Artistic Director of The DANCE

CO. of St. Charles. She was a member of the Kansas

City Royalaires and also a KMOX Cardinal dancer.

As a dancer with St. Charles Civic Ballet, Debbie

danced on several St. Louis TV shows. She has

studied all forms of dance in New York, Chicago, and

L.A., with emphasis on Jazz. As a Master teacher,

Debbie has been on faculty for St. Louis Dance

Festival, St. Louis Dancing Teachers’ Association

and regional workshops across the country as well as

Fontbonne College. Debbie’s choreography credits

include a music video shown on St. Louis Cable TV,

the Patt Holt Singers road show and several promo-

tional videos for Venture. Debbie is Past President of

SLDTA and served on DMA’s National Committee

for Education on Tap. Having won numerous chore-

ography awards, Debbie judges for several regional

and national dance competitions.
